This was one of my favorite birds in Costa Rica. I was optomistic that we would see quite a few, when we had one the first afternoon at our San Jose motel garden. Unfortunately, we saw only a couple, but I did manage a mediocre photo.
This photo was taken with a Canon 7D Mark ii Digital Camera with a 100-400mm zoom lens.
