I know what you are thinking...."where is the bird?" This incredibly poor photo shows a little bit of the bird's wing, but basically it is just a photo of a Kirtland's eye with it's white eye arcs peeking out from between the leaves. Fortunately, other birders refound this bird and got very good photos. This is my second Kirtland's in Indiana. The first was twenty-two years earlier in this exact same location!
This photo was taken with a Canon 60D Digital Camera with a 100-400mm zoom lens.
