This interesting first cycle gull was similar in size to the Great Black-backed Gulls it was associating with, but was much paler. This bird might be an aberrant Great Black-backed Gull, or perhaps more likely, a bird with some Glaucous Gull genes.
These photos were taken with a Canon Rebel XSi Digital Camera with a 100-400mm zoom lens.
